People responded overwhelmingly to the fifth edition of the chocolate fair that took place recently in Les Voiles Rouges. About forty exhibitors offered chocolate in all kinds and other local products such as biscuits, rousquilles, jam, gingerbread, charcuterie, salt, cheese, oil, wine, beer, etc.
Children were able to attend a workshop and, with the help of the guides, make their own chocolate creations.
This show is part show, about chocolates and cakes. The artisans of the Catalan Chocolate Brothers were there to show their skills, their creativity and why not promote the call for work that is recruiting people.
The Chamber of Trades and the Campus of Trades were also there with students and teachers to provide courses from CAP to Bac + 2. People were able to admire the amazing creations made by the students of the CFA section of the chocolate cake factory.
Another feature of this show is keeping a portion of the money donated to a charity. This year, it was the Artichoke Choirs who walked away with a check for €1,500. This group from Villelongue-de-la-Salanque has been organizing ten concerts every year for 18 years, in which artists perform on a voluntary basis. Proceeds from each concert are donated to the country or region.
