Hedgehog cake recipe

Autumn is here, it’s time to relax and enjoy the cold and rainy weather. So what could be better than good cookies with a cup of homemade chocolate?
These little hedgehog shaped cookies are super delicious and easy to make at home. You can soak the dough with vanilla powder, lemon or orange zest. Put on your aprons, we’re going to the kitchen!

Chocolate hedgehog cake recipe

For 15 cookies
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Breathing: 1 hour
Cooking time: 15 minutes

– 120 g soft fat
– 90 g icing sugar
– 20 g almond flour
– 250 g flour
– 1 packet of dry yeast
– 1 egg
– 50 g dark chocolate
– 50 g chocolate milk
– 12 chocolate chips
– 40 g chocolate vermicelli
– Sugar eyes (optional)

1. Beat the butter and icing sugar then add the almonds to the bottom.

2. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the egg and flour.

3. Mix the paste until a homogeneous shape is obtained. Make a ball and refrigerate for one hour.

4. Make balls of the same size and give a pear shape to make the body of the hedgehogs. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C.

5. When the cookies have cooled, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Dip half of the cookies in the melted chocolate and then in the vermicelli to combine.

6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet. Using a toothpick dipped in melted chocolate, draw the noses and eyes of the hedgehogs. You can also put sugar eyes on hedgehogs.

7. When the chocolate hardens, store the biscuits in a tin (if you don’t eat them all first!).
