I love how this party keeps me motivated to create unique and fun decorations from scratch. You’ve probably seen how you can turn a roll of toilet paper into little monsters and this is one example out of millions of others. The same is true with food. Even if you think you don’t have anything to make a Halloween themed menu, you can make something. You just need inspiration, trust me. The proof is below, so keep reading.
Easy Halloween Appetizers
These cute little pumpkins are basically balls of cheese, covered in various spices. Here’s what you need to do:
- 2 packs of cream cheese
- 300 g grated cheddar cheese
- 30g finely chopped roasted red pepper
- 3 green onions – finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
- With it, paprika and black sesame seeds
Preparation : Mix all the ingredients well (except the last nacho, paprika and sesame seeds) and leave it in the fridge for an hour. Meanwhile, cool the nachos and place them on a small plate. Do the same with paprika and sesame seeds. Using a spoon, make small balls with the cheese mixture and rub in different flavors. Finally, use a wooden skewer to make marks on the side of each ball and the top to reveal the pumpkin. Place half a pretzel stick in the middle of each cheese ball, then garnish with a small parsley leaf.

Halloween pizza
As our goal here is to prepare a quick and easy Halloween menu, we do not expect you to make the dough. Also, this year, Halloween falls on a Monday, so we don’t have much time to prepare. In this case, mini pizza is a great solution. To make it, take pizza dough from the supermarket. You can also use slices of bread, tarte flambée or puff pastry.
Then add the tomato sauce and decorate with the things you have in the fridge. You can use different cheeses cut in the form of ghosts or use vegetables such as peppers, cucumbers, olives, carrots. The latter should be cooked first, as they need more time to soften.

Aside from being super awesome, these cookies are a great alternative to chocolate chip cookies. To prepare them, you will need the following items:
- 250 g of cooked or canned peas
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 60 g of maple syrup
- 120 g of peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 70 g of soaked oats
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- green food color and candy eyes to decorate
Preparation : Put all the ingredients except the candy eyes and food colors into your mixer and mix until smooth. Then add 25-30 drops of green food coloring and mix a few times to mix everything. You can use any color, I was just inspired by Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc.
Now take a spoon and make cookies. You will get about 26 cookies. Then, with slightly wet hands, press the cookies into a round shape. Bake for 16-18 minutes, then remove from the oven and gently place the candy eyes into your cupcakes while they are still warm.
