Divide the pea soup and bacon

4 human ingredients): 300 g of split peas, 2 medium onions, 1.5 liters of beef, 2 carrots, 1 small piece of meat about 300 to 400 g, 2 slices of smoked bacon, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 3 tablespoons of sour cream. butter, 4 slices of bread, salt and pepper.

Preparation : soak the split peas in cold water for three hours. Peel the carrots and onions and cut them into small pieces. Cut the slices of bacon into lardons. Prepare 1.5 liters of beef. Remove the split peas and add them to the sauce. Bring to a boil. Skim. Add the chopped carrots and onions, ham and bacon bits. Stir and cook on low heat for 1 hour. Avoid other cooking times if necessary.

At the end of cooking, remove the ham from the soup, remove the bones and cut the meat into small pieces. Add to soup. Mix everything. Salt, pepper. Add a pinch of sugar. Adjust the consistency of the soup and bring to a final boil. Add a tablespoon of butter and a little cream.

Serve with bread croutons toasted in oil.

Black pudding with apples

4 human ingredients): 1 to 1.5 kg of black pudding, 8 medium apples and 3 tablespoons of oil.

Preparation : in a pan; heat the oil and add the sausage that should cook slowly. When the skin of the pudding is sufficiently toasted, remove from heat. Place the peeled and sliced ​​apples in the serving pan. Cook on medium heat, turning frequently. Once heated through, serve with sausage. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Apple dumplings

4 human ingredients): 4 apples, 4 squares, sugar and brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and one beaten egg.

Preparation : Wash the apples, dry them, leave them whole and put them in an apple corer. Take out the pastry cutter and cut it into four squares big enough to wrap around the apples. Place an apple in the center of each circle. Pour the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture into the apple cavity. Put a knob of butter on top. Close the dough with a seal, wetting the sides with water. Brush each doillon with a beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 45 minutes.
